Hello, friends (Jim Nantz voice). The azaleas are in full bloom, baseball is back across this great country, and the NBA playoffs are almost here. Before the start, there are 12 games across the next two days in which plenty of #narrative exist. Let’s take a look:
Channing Frye has a revenge game and a #bobblehead night! Frye played two seasons in Orlando, but tonight he gets to host his former team. The Cavs have donned him with his own Bobblehead to boot!
Speaking of bobbleheads, Paul George has one as well, and the first 15,000 fans will get one. PG13 is coming off a monster stat line against Cleveland, and with Indiana scrapping their way into playoff seeding, I love the spot for him to continue his recent strong play.
I mentioned Frye above, but Seth Curry travels back to Sacramento to take on the team where he played last season. Jerian Grant and Robin Lopez travel back to Madison Square Garden where they once played. In that same game, Derrick Rose hosts his former Bulls squad.
Marc Gasol has been injured and probably won’t play Tuesday against the Spurs, but if he does, Pau Gasol will be waiting for him and they will probably punch each other and play some basketball.
Frank Kaminsky and his middle of the road skill set travel to the nation’s capital to take on the Wizards. Charlotte is fighting for their playoff lives so Franky will already be extra motivated.
That’s it — Good Luck — Thank you!
