NBA Narratives – March 21st

Welcome to NBA Narratives for March 21st!  Tonight we have a nice 8 game NBA slate, and there are some narratives you should be aware of as you set your DFS lineups.  Let’s take a stroll down #narrativestreet …..

NBA Birthdays:

No active NBA Birthdays today!

#Revenge Narrative:

Tonight we have four revenge narratives, three from one single game!

First, Goran Dragic and the scorching hot Miami Heat host Phoenix, his former team. Assuming Dion Waiters lets him get a few shots, Dragic could be in line for a nice game against his old team in a plus matchup.

In a game that seemingly has more revenge narratives than The Young and The Restless, Dallas hosts Golden State tonight.

“Is that right?” -Victor, probably

Here’s the rundown for that game:

We have Zaza, now in Golden State, taking on his former team Dallas.

We have Harrison Barnes, now in Dallas, taking on his former Warriors teammates.

We have Seth Curry, now in Dallas, taking on his former Golden State squad.  THREE revenge narratives in the same game.

To top it all off, we have a DOUBLE NARRATIVE with Seth Curry also taking on his brother Steph.  My brother and I used to play 1 on 1 in the driveway growing up, we would play to 13, and play best of 7.  We did this probably 100 times.  Out of those say 100 times, there was at least one punch thrown or elbow in the neck in about 98 of them.  I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see the brothers’ trying to show each other up.

#BarnesonBarnes Narrative

We’re reaching here, but Harrison Barnes was let go to sign Kevin Durant, who is hurt and has been replaced by Matt Barnes.  Honestly, if you want to build a full #NarrativeGameStack, this might be the spot to do it.

That’s all we have for tonight!  As always, find us on twitter @NBANarratives and let us know what you liked and what we missed.
