The All-Star break is upon us, but the NBA sends off into the weekend with a two-game slate featuring one nationally televised game and a few narratives sprinkled in. Let’s take a look:
Rajon Rondo (Chicago) gets his former Celtics team in the TNT spotlight game. Rondo as a Bull has been a complete mess this season, but we do have two instances this season in which we have data in this #revenge spot:

Kevin Seraphin (Indiana) gets his own #revenge spot as he hosts his former Wizards team where he spent his first five seasons in the Association. The pride of French Guiana played 326 games for Washington where he averaged just 16 minutes per game in a true reserve role. Check on Indian front-court injuries with Lavoy Allen and Thad Young which could open up additional run for Kevin.
Ian Mahinmi (Washington) played for the Pacers for four years from 2012-2016. Ian travels back to Indiana tonight where he played 290 game in a similar bench role as Seraphin averaging 19 minutes per game.
This is a stretch, but the NBA trade deadline is February 23rd. Jimmy Butler’s name has swirled in the media hype train and the Celtics have been one of those potential suitors. Perhaps the home game, national T.V. and Brad Stevens’ court side seat elevates Jimmy Minutes to ultra DFS mode.
As always, let us know what we missed @nbanarratives — Thank You!
