February 2nd #SWAGGYSLATE

Screw Punxsutawney Phil and his shadow, the Association gives us just a four-game slate, but one with plenty of stars, intrigue and a DFS site that has altered the course of human history forever. Let’s dive in game-by-game:

Los Angeles Lakers @ Washington Wizards

The Lakers travel cross-country to take on the red-hot Wiz who are at home, 11-point favorites but with a nice 218.5 total plenty of DFS goodness to go around. The obvious DFS player will gravitate towards a Wizards stack and for good reason, but on the other side of ball, we have Nick Young, aka Swaggy P. Young played five of his nine NBA seasons in Washington and returns tonight for a #revenge game. Tonight FanDuel.com has a “Swaggy Slate” that has one player you can roster at the center position — yep, shooting guard Nick Young at $6,600. Don’t believe me, here is a live look-in:

compliments of FanDuel.com — look for the “Swaggy Slate”

This is simply incredible and gives DFS a little spin on tonight’s games. Note the “Swaggy Slate” does not include the Philadelphia-San Antonio game. Oh damn I can’t jam Tony Parker into my lineups. I’ll somehow survive.

Philadelphia 76ers @ San Antonio Spurs

Tonight the 76ers travel on a road back-to-back to play the Spurs. Moving on….

Atlanta Hawks @ Houston Rockets

Dwight Howards returns to Houston where he left not on the best of terms after rumblings of team chemistry and problems sharing the spotlight with HoboFeet. Shout out to @jonathan_feigen, Houston Chronicle beat writer, who captured the feeling of tonight’s return:

These teams did play back on November 5th, 2016, albeit in Atlanta, but Dwight in 29 minutes dropped 20 points, 15 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocks for 49.2 DraftKings points, 45.4 FanDuel points. D12 is priced incredibly reasonable on both sites tonight ($6.9K on DK, $7.1 on FD). In addition to this data, there is a #tributenarrative courtesy of the Rockets front office. Howard has been booed in his return to his previous stops in Orlando and Los Angeles, but the Rockets will also offer a timeout tribute video to remember his success and work in the community (per the Houston Chronicle). As if this game didn’t offer enough #narrative, this game is televised on TNT, and with an expected crowd to be full of celebrities who are in town for the Super Bowl, it’s a DFS delight.

Golden State Warriors @ Los Angeles Clippers

The game offers both teams who played last night, Marreese Speights and Shaun Livingston #revenge spots, and a guy named Klay Thompson who was born in Los Angeles. In the last four games played in L.A., Thompson has scored 24, 32, 25 and 25 real life points. His DraftKings game log is also impressive with upside galore:

Good luck tonight. Let us know what we missed @nbanarratives — Thank You!
