December 8th #NARRATIVESTREET

It’s pretty quiet on #narrativestreet come this Thursday, so our lead guy is an aging veteran going up against his former team. Pau Gasol played for da Bulls for the 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 seasons before signing with the Spurs this past off-season. Pau was a very good addition to the Bulls during his time in Chicago and averaged in 150 games started 17 points, 11 rebounds and 3.5 assists. Thursday marks his first return trip to the Windy City since he departed. His stats have tapered off quite a bit this season with averages of 11 points, 6 rebounds and 2.5 assists…..but the narrative is squarely in play, the game is nationally televised (9:30 est on TNT) so Pau could (should) be playing elevated basketball.

Other Revenge Game of Note

Zach Randolph (Memphis vs. Portland) — Z-Bo has a bench role now in the Grizzlies rotation, but in the last two seasons, he has averaged 35.68 FanDuel points and 37.4 DraftKings points versus his former team. Zach seem to get up for these games.

Jrue Holiday (Pelicans vs. 76ers) — currently questionable to play with a toe injury

Homecoming

Andrew Wiggins (Minnesota @ Toronto) — born in Toronto, Canada, expect a ton of friends and family in the stands on a nationally televised contest (7:00 p.m. est on TNT). In his brief career, Mr. Wiggins has averaged 20.5 points / 1.5 rebounds / 3.5 assists / 0.5 blocks in games played in his hometown.
