A six game slate to kick off December gives us two very nice primetime televised games on TNT. The first is the Los Angeles Clippers visiting the World Champion Cavaliers beginning at 8:00 p.m. Eastern. Blake Griffin was given the CD-DNP (Rest) designation on Tuesday so he will be ready to ignite on the national stage. LeBron and company suffered a pretty convincing defeat at the hands of the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday so they should be all systems go and be up for this spotlight game.

The second game on TNT gives us a glorious Houston vs. Golden State matchup with an opening OVER /UNDER OF 230.5. James Harden and Kevin Durant square off in this semi-rivalry between two alpha dogs. The Warriors are riding a 12-game winning streak and face the Rockets for the first time since they eliminated them in a five-game Western Conference Quarterfinal series back in April. And in the off-season, the greatest in the history of the Association, many took jabs at the decision by KD to sign with the Warriors. One of those critics includes James Harden who jabs KD in this letter back in June:

Go ahead and get some players into your DFS rosters for this incredible hammer game on the slate!

Revenge Games

Mirza Teletovic (Milwaukee) — taking on his former team, the Brooklyn Nets

Jeff Green (Orlando) — taking on his former team, the Memphis Grizzlies

Jason Kidd (Milwaukee Coach) — JKidd takes on a team he played for and coached for (Double Narrative!!). Kidd coached Brooklyn in 2014 to a 44-38 record before signing to coach Milwaukee from 2015-present. Kidd has a 7-1 record against the Nets as coach of the Bucks, including a 3-1 mark with games played in Brooklyn. With Point Giannis having a monster year, expect the Kidd narrative to be fully planted at the Barclays Center Thursday night.

Homecoming Games

Seth Curry (Duke) and Harrison Barnes (North Carolina) — kind of a reach here, but both return to their college basketball roots to take on Charlotte. Tough spot for the Mavericks who are playing on a road back-to-back.

Rakeem Christmas — just recalled to the Pacers, but not on the slate
