Just a four-game slate tonight, but we have a nice collection of narratives in each game. Our cover boy Dwayne Wade returns to Miami for the first time since signing in the off-season with his hometown Chicago Bulls. I expect the fans to embrace him with a standing ovation, but Pat Riley not so much. Some recent comments from Wade on his relationship now with Pat:

“I know how Pat is. If you’re not with him, you’re against him.”

“I’ve been very open, honest about my respect and love for Pat. I’ve also been honest that I haven’t spoken to him since season ended.”

Wade and the Bulls are playing on the road in the second leg of a back-to-back which is a tough spot, but narrative street should tell us Wade will be locked and loaded to drop a hammer on his former team and Pat on national television (TNT @ 8:00 p.m.)

Revenge Games

JaVale McGee (Warriors @ Denver ) – playing his former team, McGee is complete non-factor and doesn’t get rotational run at all. DFS fade. Golden State is playing on the road in the second half of a back-to-back.

Matt Barnes (Lakers @ Kings) – last year averaged 30 minutes as a Grizzly versus his former team. This season averaging just over 23 minutes in the rotation for the Kings.

D-Wade (Bulls @ Heat) – see above.

Tony Snell (New Orleans @ Milwaukee) – Mr. Snell has averaged 28 minutes per contest in six games played this year, but his stat lines of 7.5 ppg, 4.2 rpg and 1.2 apg offer us little upside, but could surprise us as a resident of narrative street tonight.
